NYC Trip – November 15th

Wednesday, November 12th, 2014

We still have some seats left for our NYC trip on Saturday, November 15th. We will be leaving just before 5am and returning at approximately midnight (probably a little earlier). The bus will pick us up in the studio parking lot where you can leave your car. Tickets are $70 per person (roundtrip).

Many of those who are going plan on shopping, sight-seeing, and/or attending a show. We recommend that you attend the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular if you have not done so in the past. It’s a great show and will put you in the Christmas Spirit. If you have already seen it you may want to see it again as the show does change from year to year.

You can buy tickets for the Christmas Spectacular in advance or when we arrive (the bus will drop us off directly across the street from Radio City Music Hall). I know that there are some who have already purchased tickets, while others like myself are waiting until we get there. In the past the 10am show has not sold out and we were able to get orchestra seats for not much more than 2nd and 3rd mezzanine seats.

Keep in mind that there is no guarantee the bus will arrive in time for the 10am show. We are allowing enough time that it should, but traffic can always be a problem. In the past our travel time has averaged 4 hours.

Another option is to go to the Tickets booth in Times Square and pick up discounted tickets for any of the Broadway shows. Most of the shows have 2pm or 3pm Saturday matinees. Tickets is a clearing house for same day tickets to Broadway shows. Not all shows will have tickets available and if they do they may be spread out. Groups of 2-4 should be able to sit next to each other.
