Classes Start Monday, September 14th
We are looking forward to meeting our new students and seeing all of our returning students. For those who attended class this Summer you know the studio is setup differently with social distancing squares on the dance room floors and other changes. We know it is different and not what everyone expects, but we have to do it this way in order to be open for in studio classes.
Registration Now Open
Registration for fall classes has started. You can register in person (see next post for hours) or for the first time online. If you are a new student you will need to provide the standard information, pick your classes and pay. Returning students will need to verify their family and student information, register and pay. It is important to make sure your contact information and your student’s birthdate are correct. Some classes are age restricted so birthdates matter. If you are trying to register for a class but do not see it, go back and check your student’s birthdate. Payment with a credit card or e-check is required at checkout, but those wanting to make future payments in the studio can.
Class Listings and Schedules can be found in the Downloads section of our website. Links to Online Registration and Registration Instructions are also available. Returning Customers: if you are going to use the online registration and are a do not create a new account if yours cannot be located. Please Contact Us and we will fix your account.
New Customers: After you create an account your account will need to activated by us, which usually will be quickly during business hours, but a little bit slower outside of them. Once you receive notification your account is active you can register and pay for classes.

2020 Summer Program
The 2020 Summer Schedule (PDF) is abbreviated this year due to the Coronavirus disrupting our year and requiring the recital be moved into July and renamed to a Talent Showcase. We are offering two camps per day and 26 summer intensive classes. Camps/Classes run from Monday, August 10th through Thursday, August 13th. Each camp meets (4) times for (3) hours per day (12 hours total) and costs $120 per week or $35/day as a drop-in. Each class meets one evening for 1 hour and costs $20 if registered in advance or $25 as a drop-in. Please keep in mind that all classes are limited to 12 students. You can find our class listing on our website in the Downloads section (see 2020 Summer Schedule).
You may register at the studio or our online store at https://sdc.cartloom.com/store/items.
Also if you are still interested in purchasing a Quarantine shirt you can order one from the online store.

Classes Start Tomorrow – See You Soon
Hi Spotlight Dancers,
Dance classes will start tomorrow, Monday, September 9th. We are excited to begin our 49th Dance Season. If you have not registered yet, we would love for you to join us. You may email me, email@example.com or call the studio 703-973-8133. The dance schedule may be found on our website (Class Listing (PDF) or Day Planner (PDF) or website)
Teen Musical Theater (Mondays from 8:00-9:00) and Teen Tumbling (Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 PM) will have delayed start dates. For those enrolled we will adjust your tuition to reflect the late start date.
Over the summer we repainted the the lobby, hallway and benches with Spotlight colors. We also replaced all of the carpet for the first time since opening 9 years ago. The old carpet was covered with numerous coffee, soda and food stains. We really want to carpet fresh and clean and therefore are reminding everyone that no food or drink of any type (other than water) is permitted anywhere in the building.
We look forward to meeting all of you and catching up with our continuing dancers. Have a great night and see you at the studio this week.
